There is much more to see in Moscow than Red Square. I not only got to see a wonderful city, but I got to hang out with some pretty great people.
At the restaurant, we were seated in what must have been called “the pit”. It was this small area lower than the main floor. It had a small pond surrounding the seating are. It took us a little bit to realize the pond was full of fish. It was terrific.
The subways are more than just subways. They are bomb shelters, and they are art museums. I don’t have enough pictures here to do them justice.
There are also a few pictures of the biggest flea market I had ever seen. Several acres big, with several floors of stalls. You could find most anything here.
